The game is free-to-play with an in-game premium store consisting of cosmetic content. This is in the form of a store with always rotating items on a weekly, monthly, and seasonal basis, depending on the items. All items in the store are purchased using "San Van Bucks". These are purchased in various bundle sizes where 1000 Bucks equals roughly 10 USD, with larger granting some extra Bucks. Bundle sizes come in 500, 1050, 1600, 2800, 5900, and 12000. Prices of many items in the store do not match the size of the bundles, but some do. For instance, many smaller items cost 500 Bucks, matching the smallest bundle.
Many items only come in bundle packs. These will often consist of a matching set of clothing and skate deck. These items can not be purchased separately outside of the bundle. The bundles will always show as being discounted despite not being purchasable without the discount.
Equally, many individual items in the store will feature a discount that still requires you to purchase the same bundle of premium currency. Often items are discounted from 500 to 425, from 900 to 765, etc, never bringing the price down to a smaller premium currency bundle size.
The game also offers some purchases directly with real money rather than via the premium currency. These are bundles in the form of "Welcome Packs". There are currently 2 of these packs, one at 25 USD and the other at 50 USD. These grant premium currency as well as a set of cosmetics that can not be purchased separately.
The game features a Battle Pass like system. Battle Passes are seasonal and can only be purchased during that season. You can complete the Battle Pass during both the current and next season, after which it expires and you lose access to items you have not yet unlocked. Items in the Battle Pass are granted by earning a currency through regular play and completing challenges. This currency is spent on items on each "page" of the pass, spending enough currency on one page grants access to the next page. The rewards do not include currency towards the next pass.
