Rematch

Microtransactions in Rematch are summarized as...

The game can be purchased in 3 editions:

  • Standard edition, for roughly 25 USD.
  • Pro Edition, for an additional 10 USD, granting some cosmetic content as well as the first premium battle pass.
  • Elite Edition, for an additional 20 USD over the Standard Edition, granting more cosmetic content as well as two premium battle passes in total.

Pre-purchasing any of the editions grants a unique cosmetic item. Pre-purchasing the Pro or Elite editions grants 72-hour early access to the game.

The game contains a store with items on a timed rotation, as well as bundles. Items and bundles are categorized into three tiers: low, medium, and high. Items in the low or medium tier can be purchased either with the free in-game earned currency called "Blocks," or with the premium currency "Quants." Items in the high tier can only be purchased with the premium currency. This premium currency is purchased in bundles where 1,000 Quants equal roughly 10 USD. Item prices range between 200 and 1,000 Quants. Bundle sizes sometimes align with these prices, but not always.

The game offers a battle pass–like system. Each season offers three battle pass tracks, with only one track available at the start of the season. The others unlock one by one several weeks into the season. You can only progress through one track at a time, but you are free to switch between them once they are unlocked. The battle pass consists mainly of items only available if you purchase the premium pass. You only need to purchase the pass once to get access to all three tracks in a single season. It offers a limited number of items for free.

The premium track is priced at 1,000 Quants (roughly 10 USD), and completing the pass earns back enough Quants to unlock the next battle pass. The free track is limited to 300 Quants. The battle pass expires at the end of the season, and you lose access to any items you did not unlock in time.
