Gray Zone Warfare

Microtransactions in Gray Zone Warfare are summarized as...

The game can be bought in 4 different editions.

  • The base game.
  • Tactical edition, for an additional 28 USD, granting in-game items that give the player in-game currency, larger storage space, and a variety of in-game items.
  • Elite edition, for an additional 55 USD over the base game, granting everything in the tactical edition plus even more currency, storage space, and items.
  • Supporter edition, for an additional 80 USD over the base game, granting everything in the elite edition, more currency, storage space, items, as well as cosmetic content.

All of these editions contain items that give you an advantage over players that do not have them. These can be acquired through regular play as well, but by purchasing them with real money you skip the struggle of having to collect these items.
The increased storage space is unique to each edition and can be a large convenience factor if you've played the game for an extended period of time. By making progression easier for yourself you are putting yourself at an advantage over those with lesser storage space. It doesn't grant you power directly, but there is power in convenience and security
